8. Every Chipotle I've ever been in... |
|
gives me a headache!
Those LOUD metal chairs on concrete floors. I am not big on loud noises. And when it's constant...it's really annoying. I'd rather eat at QDoba.

10. Smith and Wollensky's Steakhouse, too |

At least the Chipotle and S&W where I live. I'm sure the design looked very pretty and modern on paper, but there's zero sound absorption. The McDonald's playroom has better acoustics than either of those places. Function comes first. Talking, relaxing, enjoying one another's company -- that's the primary reason for restaurants. The food is in many respects is secondary.

As we learned in "Introduction to Interior Design" years ago, "it can't be beautiful if it's not good design..."

It's great drunk food at 2:00 AM. Too bad there's none where I live.

Nearest QDoba is 15 miles and if I'm in that part of town there are a couple of non-chain burrito places that are better. My favorite has grilled fajita veggies that are to die for.

I can't stand those chain mexican places. Yeah, they're better than taco bell, but they're still closer to taco bell than they are to real mexican food (which I love).

11. Been to the one here once... food was good, but... |
|
The employees at ours seemed to be annoyed to actually have to deal with *gasp* a customer... especially one who had *gasp again* never been there before, and hence *oh the horror* had questions about the menu offerings!
That was over a year ago, and i haven't been back since. I'd honestly rather make it myself.
