4. That report was by Ivan Semeniuk! Cool!
He used to be the astronomy reporter on CBC Radio in Toronto.

He always used to give breathless reports on the latest sky happenings.

I remember that he once ended an interview and then came back and interrupted the afternoon announcer after seeing an unusually bright Venus in the sky after leaving the studio.

A real enthusiast.

but I have met Bill Nye (the science guy) once and Jack Horkheimer (PBS' Star Hustler) a couple of times.

I used to watch him every night on PBS right after "Eastenders".
