How long have you been here and what keeps you here?

I've been here since summer 2001 and I can honestly say DU changed my life. I don't post or visit as much anymore, but I always find my way back.

Not quite sure when I started, but it's been awhile. I started over in the GLBT forum (I met some nice people there especially one of the mods who made me immediately welcome), but after a few battles and some boredom (yeah, yeah, I read that article in The Advocate, too), I came to the Lounge. I have friends here, I've made friends here, we can talk about pretty much anything, and generally we're nice to each other. We joke, we flirt, we discuss our problems -almost anything goes really. I still go over to GDP (someone please stop me!), GLBT, and Religion but I rarely post in any of them.
