which should i tackle first? laundry, dishes or taking a shower |
|
i was basically without hot water in my kitchen for about a week because the hot water would only trickle out (i could sometimes get enough warm water from the tap to wash a few dishes, but that was a crap shoot). the plumber fixed that on friday morning and i was looking forward to running the dishwasher when i got home that evening. but about 5:30, i got a call from my roommate that the water heater was spewing water everywhere, so we went without hot water for the weekend. the plumber came back yesterday morning and repaired the water heater and i came home last night expecting hot water....denied. they didn't relight the pilot light and i could not, after an hour of tinkering with the damn thing, get it going, so the plumber had to come back this afternoon to do it for me.
i tried to run the dishwasher today (it's one of those portable dealies) and found out that the dishwasher itself is broken...i'd thought the problem was the fact that i had no water pressure coming from the kitchen sink, but nooooooooooooooooo, it's the damn machine.
so, i now have a dishwasher and sink full of dirty dishes, several loads of dirty laundry and i haven't taken a shower today.
i want to get started on something, but have no idea where to start. on one hand, i would much rather do laundry than dishes, but, on the other hand, the dishes seem more pressing. in all honesty, i would prefer to take a shower and relax a bit, but worry that i'll just get all icky again doing the chores.
i am so indecisive and need help x(

1. The hot shower will make you feel infinitely better. |
|
So it might be worth doing first. Especially since you'll be able to take another one tomorrow if you get ann icky doing the chores. :P

5. You get that way by having a brain malfunction and using the index finger when you meant |
|
to use the ring finger. :)

7. Take a nap, then think about it. |
|
By then you can put it all off until tomorrow.

8. Always do what you dislike the most first. Then you'll feel great and you can enjoy doing the |
|
laundry while you think of relaxing in the shower next.
