favorite quote so far "The speed at which riders met the end resulted in many getting wedgies and enemas from the experience.<12> Employees kept fishnets for scooping out the occasional nugget of excrement or tampon."

:wow:

The things you gloss over as a child, that place sounds horrible now!

1. I Remember That Place!
Had loads of fun there, never got injured, but as I look back, it's a wonder I didn't! I remember careening down the alpine slide at ridiculous speeds. And yeah, it was a brutally hard, abrasive concrete track!

the trick was to take the beginner lanes because they had many more drops to get the slow people moving.

I did have the pleasure of having my entire skiing kit ripped off, except the boots during a winter visit. That place was full of criminals, there was an honest to god line out the ski patrol's door of people filing theft reports

4. The wiki description sounds like the script treatment for an episode of the Simpsons.
Grisly. Hilarious. Nearly unbelievable.

8. Wow!
Its popularity went hand in hand with a reputation for poorly-designed, unsafe rides; inattentive, underaged, underpaid and sometimes under-the-influence employees<1>; equally intoxicated and underprepared visitors — and the poor safety record that followed from this perfect storm of circumstances.

Where does the line start?!

12. To me it's weird enough that Vernon has a ski area.
My in-laws never mentioned Accident Park.
