Meet Rada, our new weimy girl:

And this is Roscoe, our new boy, guarding the turkey poults we incubated, which were hatched the third week of May:

but, still, it's worth it all. :)

4. Roscoe looks like a tabby-siamese mix.
They are the BEST cats--the cross brings out the best of both breeds.

12. He is soooo sweet.
Tabbies are my favorite.

He's got a wee bit of mischief to him, but he's a cuddlelump, too. :D

23. tabby-siamese mixes tend to be freakishly intelligent...
...very easy going, and will be almost clingy (that siamese tendency to bond strongly). And I love the blue eyes.

This is mine, and he's the best cat I've ever had (my buddy for 13 years now):

25. Gorgeous kitties!
Thanks for the info...he is clingish--right now--to RAda...she has a Love Bucket, and they are both curled up in it most the time.

Here's Rada in the Love Bucket, right after we got her.

Your cats are gorgeous! Is the bottom photo of the siamese mix?

I always wanted a solid black cat. He's beautiful.

Wow...the coloration of your kitty in your other post...I thought it was a different cat.

You have beautiful cats.

33. Yep. Even his GUMS are black.
He's part maine coon, so he's got that thick double coat that maine coons have--sometimes I get his torso shaved for the summer to keep him cool. The double coat (the underneath part) has a silver tinge to it, so he looks a bit funky and two-toned until the fur grows back.

I'm probably going to get him shaved again in a few weeks, and I'll post a pic.

7. Wait, you've got a kitten watching turkey chicks, and a baby sighthound
(more or less a sighthound, anyone that has had one will agree) right now? You may have a very interesting summer ahead of you.

Edited on Sun Jun-08-08 11:28 PM by Maddy McCall
If that's what you mean.

And you know that I raise weimaraners, right? This is our fourth weimaraner...we love the breed. We have fifty wooded and pastured acres, so they have plenty of room to do the things the love to do.
