My Monday was just as crazy as my weekend. Alpha Male is giving me the pip over not being "enthusiastic" enough about his writings. Save me from the next unpublished writer who thinks he is the next (FILL IN YOUR FAVORITE AUTHOR HERE).

I wish I were there and I could bring you some tea and toast (or whatever you needed).

As it was, I went over and visited with my young friend and her son. Her mother is leaving the country soon to go back to their country. Her husband -- my friend's father, had his 65th birthday yesterday. I ate some of the cake. (God damn it, but this is bland. That's because I don't DARE mention RACE, RELIGION, or SEX which might set off someone to make me their target.)

Have you seen a doctor? Here I will be all pokey and ask if you have had your WBC checked. Ever since my (took 7 years) RA diagnosis I rag on people to do that when they are sick with a cold/flu/other for longer than the norm.

And, I had to edit my post to something contentious, lest it fall off the page.

Until then, the doctor today put me on steroids. He said he thought it might be allergies and asthma sort of dragging on after the cold. I'll go back in two weeks if I'm not better with the 'roids.
