3. That's the sad thing -- didn't buy anything spectacular
With my kids out of school I'll probably need to go shopping again in 2 weeks.

6. Why is everybody setting me up for Python riffs today?

"Ooo, hello, Mrs Smoker."

"Hello, Mrs Non-Smoker."

"What, you been shopping, then?"

"Nope — I've been shopping!"

"Wha'dya buy?"

"A piston engine!"

"Wha'dya buy that for?"

"It was a bargain!"

"How much d'ya want for it?"

"Three quid!"

"Done!"

"Right. Thank you."

"How'dya cook it?"

"You don't cook it!"

"You can't eat that raw!"

"Oooo... never thought of that. Oh, day and night, but this is wondrous strange."

"And therefore is a stranger welcome it. There are more things in Heaven and Earth Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. But come, the time is out of joint. Oh cursed spite, that ever I was born to set it right. Let's go together."

8. BBC Americas is rerunning uncut python
and I've been watching them on the DVR. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your bent) they have a little advertising scrawl on the bottom with the news of the day from BBC America.

So the result is you get the Pythons in court braying on about parking tickets freedom and cross-examining coffins. and the oh so serious scrawl is about the last brit held at Guantanamo.

I freaking hilarious.

9. I doubt it's uncut
Lemme know if you hear Harry Bagot say "masturbation" when listing his hobbies during the All-England Summarise Proust Competition in episode 31.

11. He does. (Just watched that one tonight)
And strangely enough I noticed it sounded different than the old PBS version. Actually a couple of bits have sounded a bit different (and longer) so far.

He is the blurb from their website.

"BBC AMERICA propels cult comedy classic Monty Python's Flying Circus into the 21st Century, with the U.S. premiere of digitally re-mastered episodes. Monty Python changed the face of comedy, and these lovingly adapted episodes update the phenomenon for a whole new generation. "

10. We almost hit that last week $273 - we usually are at $175-$200
Where'd the extra $73 come from? Nowhere!! Bought the same stuff in the same sizes - our grocery bill just grew like MAGIC

My question is...can we come over to your house for dinner? The Debi's can't afford another trip to the store! x(
