3. Guess I wanted Du'ers to know that. Because of some of the threads I start
such as once I started one about why are some people sociopaths.

4. I know.
I'm thinking about looking for a job in market research. I like knowing what people think and why.

6. This is hardly an all-encompassing answer, (I don't think we have one)
but I think frustration is one big motivator. Frustration makes people angry. Some angry people chop wood for an extra half hour, some swing their hammer harder, some shoot their co-workers.

As for the multi billionaires, that's always been a mystery to me too. I remember a bunch of years ago some 79 year old billionaire by the name of Kardasian was trying to make a hostile takeover of another company. I thought, he already has several thousand million dollars, literally more money than he can count, and yet, at the age of 79 this guy is STILL trying to screw somebody to get a few more million. The world is truly his oyster. He has the means to satisfy any desire he could have, but he still doesn't have enough power and money. Would the entire solar system be enough for a guy like this? I'm sure it wouldn't. In fact, I think this old buzzard is still alive and actively pursuing more money. As far as I know he doesn't really do a damn thing with his money except use it to enable him to get more. He's just as nutty as the anorexic that sees a skeleton in the mirror and feels the need to lose more weight.

They say a feeling of power is what fuels some serial killers. So I guess they're frustrated with their own apparent lack of power and get a fix by exercising ultimate power over the life of another.

You don't need me to tell you "frustration" isn't the answer, it's just a part of the answer. And even with that we have to wonder why one person is relatively content, while another, in similar circumstance, has an irrational level of frustration.

You also don't need me to tell you that this is an exceedingly complex question modern science hasn't been able to answer as far as I know. There is still debate on which direction to take to even begin finding an answer.

My guess is the answer will also be exceedingly complex with a multitude of variables all dependent on other variables and all dependent on which individual is examined. That's my take as an armchair observer with absolutely no training or expertise in the matter. But it is interesting and fascinating to all of us, at least it should be.
