Amazing how attached you get to people just over the internet. I have one good friend that I rarely hear from anymore, cause he's so busy, another friend who recently left DU publically, and another good friend who just said goodbye again (please don't ask, I can't bear talking about it.)

I've had some rough years, but I always find something at DU to keep me going. Take a break--but come back. It's that oasis in the middle of the desert that we all need so much at times. It's not perfect, nor could it ever be, but there are people here that help take away some of the bad stuff that happens in RL.

"I once was lost, but now I'm found; was blind, but now I see." I'm not religious, as you know, but that verse always gives me hope. Even in the middle of all the shit around us.
