you wondered if kids were in my future. you saw 4 or 5 kids running in circles.

I have two college-age sons, neither or whom has a regular g.f. at the moment. So I hope those kids running in circles were a memory of my past.

a friend of mine and I went to a psychic one time when we were in L.A. that women, too, saw me around young children. something about mother goose. maybe I'm gonna be mother goose in my next life? maybe I have that mommy aura? That was a big part of my past, but not my future, as far as I know.

whether you think you have premonitions or whether you think premonitions fall w/i cognitive filtering (i.e. noting the ones that do seem real and ignoring the ones that don't) you're not responsible for a weather event unless you are mother nature. :)

At this moment my life is about finding a job that will pay a living wage with bennies so that I can afford medicine I need to take and figuring out where that job will be and where I will live in the next year and what I will take with me when I move.

when my kids were younger, creepy but true, I was sort of a "kool-aid" mom - I used to have a backyard full of kids all the time. It was fun. Now... don't think it would be so much fun. but nothing seems like too much fun when I don't know how I'm going to survive in the near future.

is there a "psychic" license? can't someone just set up shop and go for it?

my friend wanted to go there and I went along and also had a "reading" b/c I'd never done that before.

but, yes, I do think it's strange that I'm associated with young children b/c, even tho I was home a lot when my kids were younger, I was never interested in teaching young kids or anything of the sort.

I have looked into applying for some positions in my field that relate to kids, but that's not my strength - or rather, that's never been my focus. I could do it, but I'm more interested in research and archives, as far as work I've done previously.

this person also said I was going to live on an island. hasn't happened yet.

but she said she saw me surrounded by kids and had an image of "granny goose." this was when my kids were in elementary school and I wasn't doing any work related to kids at the time.

it would be nice to be a grandmother in the future, but not until my kids have finished school and gotten jobs and can actually support themselves and a kid or two or however many. I would be surprised if my older son got married, but who knows. His asperger's is such that whoever he would marry would have to have a lot of patience. He doesn't think he'll ever get married. He's had one girlfriend and when she broke up with him, he took it really, really hard. He'd known her since jr. h.s.
