Sports are generally broadcast live even out here (6-hr. difference; no DST for us). This makes it diificult to follow a series during the work week. It also leaves the local network affiliates with HUGH!!11!!!11!! gaps in their prime-time schedules.

When Monday Night Football was on ABC, KITV would broadcast it on tape delay, so everyone made a beeline for the nearest sports bar that had a satellite dish. But as far as I know, it's all live now.
