When you signed up for Netflix, how long did it take them to send out your first movies? |
|
I signed up yesterday morning, and it said they would send my first available movies out yesterday. I'm showing nothing out and now it says they'll send my first movies today.
I'll be the only one on the planet to get bad service from Netflix.

1. depends upon how close |
|
you are to the distribution center. say if i mail mine back to them on a monday, they get it on tuesday and i usually get my next one on wednesday. that is, unless it's out at my regular dist. center and they have to get it from elsewhere. i LOVE netflix!

2. Everyone loves Netflix. |
|
I signed up mostly because of my BIL. He went on for like an hour one day about how awesome it is.

They've got excellent customer service.
As I recall, when I signed up, I got my first movies within two days.

5. Been with them a couple months. |
|
I signed up on a Sunday or Monday so I'd have them by movie night, Saturday. They arrived Wednesday. Though my local distribution center is on the other side of town.
All the films that weren't showing up at my local brick & mortar Hollywood Straight-to-Video they carried.

7. I did my signup on June 5 which was a Thursday |
|
and my first confirming email said on or around Saturday which is when I received them.
It may have been a time of day issue.
However you are going to love Netflix. I sent back one, and got an email to confirm they received it, then another email when they sent the next disc, inquiring if I received it.

8. I don't recall exactly when my first movies came, but I was surprised at how fast |
|
Now, on my third round, I had a "received your old movies" e-mail this morning (they must insist on being first on the mail carrier's route), and now the website shows that they're sending the next batch out this afternoon, which means that they'll probably arrive tomorrow. :-)

9. can't remember the first movie ship date |
|
but I usually a day of shipping time. so, I put the movie in the mailbox, it takes a day to ship to the distribution center, they take a day to register that I sent the movie back and to put the next one in the mail, another day of shipping time, and it's in my mailbox.
all told, a 3 day process.

12. And they'll be there. |
|
They are remarkably prompt. :-)
Netflix also sends you emails asking when you received your movies. They seem to care about maintaining their good service.
No, I'm not a shill for Netflix. But I have had really good experiences with them.

11. It could have to do with the movies you picked |
|
Netflix is FAST. But, when my list is low, and I only have things picked with a waiting list.. i.e.. newer movies, they can be a bit slower.
I love Netflix!
