Damn. I just found out my friend's dog was killed by her neighbor's dogs |
|
I'm so sad because her dog, Neko, had such an incredible personality...he truly was a wonderful dog. :(
Her neighbor didn't even apologize. I don't understand that. I would be mortified if my dog killed someone else's dog. I would apologize profusely and pay any vet bills out of sheer guilt. Has anyone here ever experienced something like this?

Neko managed to escape the fenced-in backyard. My friend and her husband went to look for him as soon as they realized he was missing which wasn't very long because it's just too hot to have him out for a long time. During the search, their neighbor across the street came running to them and said "I think my dogs got to your dog". They drove him to the vet as fast as they could but he died soon after.
I don't have the full story yet because my friend is still heartbroken over it and I didn't want to press her for additional details. I'll find out more later. The one thing I did asked was if the neighbor apologized and she said "that would have been nice".
