One of my former attorney colleagues used to refer to legal aid applicants as this when they were obviously meth heads.

whether it was said to their faces. I can't imagine that someone could feel that away about drug-addicted folks and be able to effectively mask those feelings in their presence. But I could be wrong about that. :shrug:

The standard Gumby accouterments are a handkerchief on the head, knotted at the corners, a white shirt with a sleeveless cardigan pullover, braces ("suspenders," you Yanks call them), waders pulled high, rubber boots, a Hitler-like moustache and John Lennon-style glasses.

And he's compassionate - he NEVER called the applicants any names to their faces. This just came up between us attorneys.
