There was a report on CBS news tonight about animals being abandoned as a result of the foreclosure crisis. The same thing is happening around here, as people are flooded out some are leaving their animals behind. I am very far from the flood areas on the riverfront in St Louis, but if I did have a cat, I think I'd take the cat with me regardless of where I had to go.
