I can't decide what to cook...I'm so worn out |
|
Let's just say I drank a wee bit too much Red Wine last night when I had company over, and I paid for it today. I'm tired, it's hot and humid in here, and I am left with a decision:
Spaghetti Carbonara
or
Annie's Mac and Cheese
There are other options but these two spring to mind. The first, b/c I want to use up the bacon in the fridge. But, it'll be ok to use it tomorrow too.
Hmmmm....I'm leaning towards Annie's.
:hi:

Less to think about in the prep and it's tasty. When I used to buy Annie's I'd dice a carrot, some celery, some onion, whatever I had and throw it in the pasta water before adding the mac. Made it a little more interesting that way.

I can't think beyond toast with a wine hangover.
But with those options, I'd go with the Mac and Cheese.

Aren't wine hangovers the *worst*?
I could drink copious amounts of vodka and not feel this crappy...Series.

... and I have.
Had a bit of a drinking issue in my 20's (NEVER date a Russian with a competitive streak when you have one too ... you'll lose ALL drinking games) and could consume a fifth of vodka and wake up the next day and at least function fairly normally.
Half a bottle of wine, and I am worthless the next day. A wine hangover allowed me discover that a fly landing on me is WAY TOO LOUD.

9. Seriously...It's unreal |
|
I have drank soooo much vodka in the past, and been able to get up and function, go to school, etc. Wine, I'm out for the count. I spent the greater part of my day napping and feeling like crud. Goddamn.
I think I need to drop wine from the repertoire. It's too much. Oy vey.
