Why do some people look for fights, or try to start them?

I've known people like that, I'm sure you all have. Some co-workers, some acquaintances.

So why do people do this?

just kidding.

I think it's just how some people deal with life - aggressively. Always seemed dumb to me - fighting is the last resort of the incompetent.

5. I used to be that guy.
Now, not so much. There were many issues I never dealt with when I was younger like the years I was molested by my foster brother or having my dad ditch out for the better portion of my childhood. When I grew into an adult, those issues manifested in different forms of aggressive behavior: bar fights, work fights, etc. Being in the military, at the time, sometimes would fuel the fire given the aggressive nature of being forward deployed and ready to strike.

There's no excuse for past actions of violence, but sometimes, it got shit done.
