I just set my alarm for the first time in ten days...
Edited on Sun Jun-29-08 07:50 PM by 1gobluedem
I guess vacation is over..

Big donor event tomorrow, Fiscal year-end, Art Fair prep is imminent and I have to fly to Orlando in two weeks for a conference. But, all I want to do is hang out at my pool...

Edited to explain it's not MY pool; just one I belong to. I guess that sounded kind of spoiled, not my intent. I'm just not ready to go back to work yet.

1. My dear 1gobluedem...
I suspect nobody's ever ready to have the vacation end...

Hope your work will be good for you!

And that you'll have some high quality time at your poolside very soon...

4. I really do love my job
It's just been so nice to have some free time...

Pool is on the way home from work, though, which will be very nice on those hot, sticky midsummer Michigan days. The a/c in my office is not great (old building).

2. Back to the grind
I recently had 25 days off and setting the alarm on the last night was a drag. I still get a week in July, 2 in Aug, and 1 in Oct. so I think I'll survive the workplace for the rest of '08.

5. Wow, 25 days sounds heavenly
I'd love to take a whole month off; I have the time but am not sure I can arrange my work schedule to accommodate that...

A few years ago I took off every Friday in June which was great.

Enjoy the upcoming vacation time; I still have some mini-vacations planned here and there during the rest of the summer. Long weekend with college girlfriends on Lake Michigan at the end of July -- that should be fun!

7. No you won't! July 14th is a Monday.
You will be thinking "Oh crap, I hate monday!"
I hope I hit the lotto so I don't have to go back!
