People are leaving assholeish anonymous comments on my blog.

And they're assholeish in the way that it almost sounds like they're trying to be nice, or pretending to, but they still sound like assholes. (I believe it's just one person, actually).

And... I think it might be one of my family members. IP address tracking is your friend.

You know, they sound kinda homophobic... really, if they were going to do some homophobic trolling, the least they could do is make it of the "OMGWTF GHEY." variety so I have an excuse to delete the comments.

3. You've got it easy!

I've got a guy who makes non-anonymous slams and slurs against me every week in the Manchester Union-Leader's comments section. He also trashes me on his cable show. He compared me to a mentally retarded pedophile, accused me of election fraud, and bashed my best friend. Now, he's taken to calling my wife (who works at a homeless shelter and is completely uninvolved in city politics) "a disgrace to the community".

Although, I did an IP address track on my anonymous asshole commenter... and he or she is a city employee. I'm really resisting the desire to say "I see you work for the city. Nice to know that you're wasting our tax dollars pissing away your time at work leaving pointless and insulting blog comments."

9. Remind anyone who accuses you of censorship

that YOUR blog is in the same category as your home and you have the right to ask anyone to leave...for any reason.

Also, that freedom of speech doesn't guarantee an audience. If they really want freedom of speech, they can do what you did...set up their own blog.

11. Why would you care what they say?

It's YOUR blog. If they have a problem with that, it's their problem not yours. You are not obligated to approve anyone's comments. DUers also cry out about censorship and freedom of speech because they are idiots and don't understand that it is an online blog and government has nothing to do with it. They are always welcome to go elsewhere or have their own blog.

They accuse you of "censoring" YOUR OWN BLOG! :rofl: Tell them no shit Sherlock, don't let the door hit you on your way out!
