What's your least favorite sit-in restaurant? |
|
I have a few from here:
Vince & Tony's (bad everything) Outback Steakhouse (tasted spicy and low quality) Mama Velia's (pretentious and overcooked when I went there)

1. Agreed on Outback. Not a fan at all. I am also not a big Joe's Crab Shack fan. |

2. I actually like Olive Garden, but see where the Outback bashing.. |
|
comes from. Fortunately, we have Texas Roadhouse here - and that is much better.

3. Olive Garden actually isn't too bad. |
|
I prefer other chains, but I can find something I like at Olive Garden.
Texas Roadhouse is decent, but I like Logan's better when it comes to chain "roadhouses".

6. I don't think we have a Logan's |
|
So I'll have to settle for Texas Roadhouse, which is one of the few good eat in places right around here.
Cheesecake Factory is fair IMO.

What's your favorite sushi spot?
My life has been good with the exception of work. Work is hard, stressful and never ending...but it keeps me busy and out of trouble (usually) so I can't complain too much. :D

You will never find me in any* shithole that serves veal.

17. Another vote against Outback. And a ding against Olive Garden. |
|
O'Charleys is better than Outback if you want steak. Or ribs. About the only thing good at Outback is a Blooming Onion and we have a local restaurant (forget its name) that does them too so they lose out.
I'm hit and miss on Olive Garden... sometimes they come through, sometimes they don't. Their first impression on me was a bad one... I proposed to my wife the 2nd time in an Olive Garden (she accepted the first time though, that was at a Garfunkels in London... but I didn't have a ring) and ordered lasagne. Lasagne as far as I am concerned is supposed to have meat in it and lots of it. Olive Garden's lasagne is nothing more than lots of pasta, richotta cheese and tomato paste. Very disappointing and yucky. So whilst the experience was OK, and the occasion something to cherish, the food was just crap crap crap crap crap.
Mark.
