Climb trees drunk. Sheesh, can you imagine the headache that little guy is going to have tomorrow when the woodpecker starts in?

And the poor dude would flop down, just holding on with his hind feet, and hang there for a second, like "wtf is going on here?".

5. Apparently "tree spins" are just as bad as "bed spins". |

though I can rarely move that fast after too many. ;-)
A friend of mine used to have several pear trees. The pears that lay on the ground for too long would ferment, and he'd end up with drunken raccoons and skunks hanging out in his driveway. WAY worse than drunken squirrels!

9. I had a cherry tree...same situation, but with pigeons. |
|
They just lie there when they're drunk and they have to picked up off the ground so the cats don't get at them.

11. Looks more like a neurological problem |

A head injury, ear infection, or poison, IMO.

12. Well, being drunk IS a neurological problem. |
|
It's the introduction of a mild chemical toxin into the brain which alters the functions of some neuron pathways.
Besides, the description says that the squirrel was OK the next day. I've seen the same type of behavior from one of my dogs after it drank an entire beer, so I'd guess that the squirrel really was just drunk.
