11. True story!

I had known for some time that this little shack was unoccupied, but tonight for some reason my young sons and I decided to stroll past it on our nightly walk (see my post above for an overhead shot to get an idea of the terrain). We've walked by it before, but recently.

Anyway, as I peeked in the window, I thought that I detected unusual heat coming from it, more than you'd expect even on a hot day. And I also noticed a damp smoky smell familiar to anyone who's visited a building post-fire.

These struck me as odd, but since no fire was visible and the building's been vacant for months, I didn't think too much of it.


Turns out there was a small fire there less than an hour before we happened to pass by. Weird.


I suspect that The Order of the Penis may have had something to do with it.
