Chocolate Cake In 5 Minutes!
Edited on Thu Jul-17-08 09:56 PM by ElsewheresDaughter
Ingredients:

4 Tablespoons cake flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
1 Mug

Instructions:

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa:

Spoon in 1 egg

Pour in milk and oil, and mix well

Put in microwave for 3 minutes on maximum power (1000watt)

Wait until it stops rising and sets in the mug

Tip contents out of mug onto saucer and enjoy!

You can do it in a small bowl too...the resulting shape is nicer and it was even better with a little whipped cream on it.

3. you can do it in a small bowl instead of the cup and.....
and the result was a nicely tasting cake, that even had a nice shape from the bowl (and the oil makes it easy to transfer).

It was even better with a little whipped cream on it.

7. My cake making strategy usually consists of:
1.) Buy cake mix.
2.) Mix and cook following directions on the box.

I think I'll try this though, saves the "buy cake mix" step.

It also minimizes the "eat whole cake" risk.

17. You have made my decade!!!
And the fact that it goes in the microwave and not in a hot oven makes it even more perfect. I'm also guessing that I could substitute some Splenda for the sugar, should I decide to save a couple of calories. Nahh, maybe not. ;)

:toast:  :loveya:
