i pulled out my old bread machine today |

haven't used it for years it's whirring right now. I used corn flour instead of regular like the recipe called for so i hope it turns out okay. can always chop it up for croutons or fry it like french toast if it isn't fluffy enough or ailing in any way.
went shopping and paid 2.50 for a little loaf! unless you hit a bread sale, as everything else, it's getting really expensive.
if you can grab one at a garage sale, i would recommend you do that. every little bit counts. I haven't done the math for costs, but am sure it's fractional compared to store bought.

and the 12 grain/ 9 grain/ Indian Grain etc ... all sell for, or did sell for .99 a loaf until last thursday when they raised the price to $1.20 per loaf. Still a bargain considering those sell for about $3.99 - $4.50 per loaf depending on which grocery store you go to!
I'm in Michigan.
