Our local Single-A team, the Asheville Tourists won 11-0. Bruce Billings pitched a complete game no-hitter, and I flipped my shit!

What a night!

He had a perfect game going into the ninth. He got one pop out. Then, he bobbled a ball, got charged with an error. Then, closed out the last two.

Helluva time.

Two homers, and two nice sacrifice bunts, as well. It is a rare year for our Tourists to do so well, they are playoff bound!

In a Single-A game (Appalachian League), the guy struck out 16 batters for Danville in six innings before the game was stopped by rain.

Not a no-hitter, but I really wish I was on hand to see that.
