Poll question: Fewer shows in the history of television are as dumb as Scare Tactics |
|
Which do you judge to be the dumbest incarnation of this profoundly stupid program?

2. I think all shows on television are profoundly stupid. |
|
Period.
Minus Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job (yes, that's the name of the show) and Mr. Show, of course.

7. Documentaries withstanding from the entirety of this conversaion. |

Television is nothing but a tool to sedate us into a fantasy mush mixed with commercials. Sports, Reality Television, Drama's, Comedies - it's all crap. All of it. I don't even like watching the news because at any second I imagine that there's a strong possibility I might see Wolf Blitzer talk about how excited he is to be using a new deodorant (with the logo scrolling below him in that god damned annoying ticker thingy). Sadly, it doesn't have to be this way, but it is. Between bullshit restrictions, sensationalism, and pushing product, it's no wonder the only television that's mildly stimulating is either on PBS, or comes on so late it's not worth staying up and watching.
I'm not trying to brag about how much better off I am than everyone because I don't watch television. I used to. But since flipping it off I get more work done, I think clearer, I have more time to do important shit like scratch myself, I can concentrate, I'm in better shape physically and I don't have to worry about being stimulated when nothing's on. Even if a show is 'good' what's the point of watching it with all those fucktacular commercials? You might as well download the torrent or wait for it to come out on DVD.

Anything that has to do with Shannon Doherty (Spelling?) is as bad as it gets in Symaripland.

4. What about Crossing Over with John "lamest cold reader ever" Edward? |
|
That made Scare Tactics look like Hamlet.

6. In the universe in which I live |

I have traveled back in time to prevent John Edward's parents from meeting. And my universe is measurably better off for it.
