6. Old school punk

The guitarist and songwriter was the late Stuart Adamson, who went on to fleeting US fame as the singer for Big Country. Sadly, Stuart took his own life back in 2001.

The Skids' "The Saints Are Coming" was covered by U2 and Green Day a few years back, and often pops up during New Orleans Saints telecasts on Fox and ESPN as bumper music.
