God, it's like all the bars with widescreen TVs who feel they MUST show everything in widescreen. A bunch of fat midgets playing basketball....

1. Speaking of midgets....

One of my nurses was a midget. Well, he told me where he lived, and I said, "Oh, I used to date a guy from down that way." He said, "Really, who?" I told him the guy's name...thing is, I didn't just date the guy, he was my ex-husband!

So the midget says, "Harvey stayed a bachelor for a long time, but I think he just recently got married." I played along, certainly NOT going to mention that he had been married in the past, and I said, "Yeah? He did, didn't he. I heard he got married, too."

The midget says, "I play ping pong with him every Sunday. He WAS married...I remember now. To some woman who cheated on him all the time."

Me: "Gasp! Hmmm...really?"

Talk about awkward on about twenty levels.
