1. Gravitas as defined by dictionary.com
grav·i·tas
n.
Substance; weightiness: a frivolous biography that lacks the gravitas of its subject.
A serious or dignified demeanor: "Our national father figure needs gravitas, he's pitched himself as the kid brother" (John Leo).

3. Today I realized I'm not actually hostile to the MVC pattern.
In fact, I realized I'm actually using a variant of it myself, I just never realized it. What I am actually actively opposed to are most of the frameworks implementing the MVC pattern for forcing various annoying rules upon it that end up making your applications far less flexible than they need to be. So today I've decided to bite the bullet and start learning the Zend Framework as it has apparently settled down some and has ditched some of the more annoying tendencies of frameworks to make you utilize the whole framework and do things only their way.

Plus it's Zend, so it's bound to become the defacto MVC/PHP framework over time. Cake will always be around too, though. So far, it's not too annoying. So far.

This post would certainly not fit anywhere else on the board. It also will bore most everyone here to tears.

;)

4. Okay
The problem with electrochemiluminescence is that the sulfo tag clumps together so if you try to use it after removing it directly from the -80 degree freezer you get much higher background than if you let it thaw for a few days at 4 degrees..then it tags evenly...

Boring and outlandish enough for you?:D
