This just in: "My Cousin Vinny" still cracks me the hell up.
It's on AMC (or something) right now, and even with the cursing cut out, it's snickerlicious!

What slightly dated movies still crack you up?

2. I love that movie.
And I, for one, thought Marissa Tomei deserved the Oscar.

Even scrubbed clean, that movie is a hoot.

8. Major League.
I could do without the plot about Tom Berenger's character chasing Rene Russo's (the only good part was Berenger accidentally showing up at her fiance's apartment), but for the most part that movie makes me look like a victim of a laughing gas attack.

I heard that wasn't in the script originally -- the director, who was British, asked Pesci to repeat something in conversation just like they did in the scene.

21. The funniest thing is that Fred Gwynn would be the
one with the "yout" accent more than Pesci... I am sure that was the inside joke between them

I had no idea. And he made his debut in On The Waterfront, playing a thug.

20. The wardrobe folks deserve a lot of credit
on that movie. Joe Pesci was a walking sight gag in his Jersey boy boots and leather jacket. And Marisa Tomei rocked her bodysuits and minis. "Like you blend."

It never gets old...EVAH

Vinny Gambini: Your Honor, may I have permission to treat Ms. Vito as a hostile witness?
Mona Lisa Vito: You think I'm hostile now, wait 'til you see me tonight.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Do you two know each other?
Vinny Gambini: Yeah, she's my fiancée.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Well, that would certainly explain the hostility.

Vinny Gambini: Everything that guy just said is bullshit... Thank you.
D.A. Jim Trotter: Objection. Counsel's entire opening statement is argument.
Judge Chamberlain Haller: Sustained. Counselor's entire opening statement, with the exception of "thank you", will be stricken from the record.

Vinny Gambini: Excuse me, you guys down here hear about the ongoing cholesterol problem in the country?
