AMAZING AMAZING STORY ABOUT A DOG!!!!
http://www.local6.com/news/2391476/detail.html

CORBIN, KY -- A clever canine in Kentucky sought out his own medical care by limping to a local veterinarian's office after getting hit by a car, according to a Local 6 News report.

The 6-year-old dog, Scooby, ran away from his owners when his collar ring snapped during a recent thunderstorm. As he was running across a road a vehicle hit him, injuring his leg and tail.

Scooby then somehow walked miles to a local animal clinic and was waiting on the doorstep when employees arrived for work....

:)

4. That's a great story
Now that his owners know how smart he is maybe they won't keep him outside during a thunderstorm.

6. That's the second story I've heard like that.
But, I must say, my dog would never run away from me in a thunderstorm. She can't get close enough to me when she's frightened.

7. Whenever my pooch is sick
he wants to go to the vet!
I'll ask him is he needs the doggy doctor and he'll bring me his leash. A couple of times I brought him there and suddenly he was better just from sitting in the waiting room. He started wagging his tail and pulled me to the door, we went home and he was fine (And I saved $65.00)

A couple of months ago he wasn't feeling well and I thought I'd just walk him, he walked me to the vet (About 5 blocks away) and took me there by the fastest route. Again, once he arrived he was fine and we calmly walked home the long way.

Five years ago he had kidney stones and spend 5 days at the vet, since then he knows that if he's sick, the doggy doctor will make him well again. It's amazing

10. The only time my dog willingly went to the vet
was after he was skunked, for a thorough clean up. Amazing at the time, he normally hates the place.

12. He probably couldn't smell anything but the skunk stink
So he didn't pick up on the special odor of the vet's office.

13. Cute, but as I read on another site
there is also the possibility that the dog was hit, and the person who hit him scooped him up and carried him to a vet, then skedaddled so as not to get caught.
