1. My dear pokerfan!
I have!

1991, in Hawaii...

It was amazing!

Unfortunately, it was very cloudy there, but we still saw it...

It is a life-changing event...

I should be able to see the one in 2017, too!

3. Yes--I think it was 1984?
I was only five, but I remember the sun going dark and it suddenly looking like twilight outside in the middle of the day.

I've never seen one since then. Haven't seen a lunar eclipse either--it's always been too cloudy.

5. No, but I've seen a 90% one
I was doing a radio show at the local community college when it happened. It was the day of Richard Nixon's funeral, so I interrupted the music and announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, Richard Nixon's soul has escaped its mortal coil and is now eating the sun. Please go outside and yell as loud as you can, to scare him away. I'll do my part - here's some Slayer."
