The university insists I send them proof my health insurance covers the kids or else they'll charge me mega bucks for student health insurance.
My husband's employer's health insurance insists I send them proof that my kids are going to college or else the kids won't be covered!
All of which allows me to predict that automatic universal health will be in place shortly after June, 2013 when my youngest should graduate!

1. I've been asked to submit proof I *don't* have insurance. |

I have the crappy student policy, which offers only "excess coverage" unless you have no other coverage. I have been asked to prove I don't have any other coverage. I had to call and ask exactly how one proves a negative like that, and they said a signed statement from me would be fine.
(I'm 32, not married, not pregnant or otherwise eligible for state insurance, and a full-time student. Where would I even get another policy from?)
