I have to vent BIG TIME about work

Last weekend we get an email that we must attend a conference call Monday or Tuesday to explain the ways they've changed our work platform. I work 3rd shift and of course neither of the conference calls are during my regular hours and, in fact, one is during my dentist apt and the other is while I'm supposed to be at my second job. Wednesday they roll out the changes and it's perfectly clear that nobody who actually uses the software has been involved in testing it, it's a total mess. Basically we're testing a beta version (with no explanation whatsoever what was wrong with the previous version). They've sent out emails asking us to share our "concerns" with the new platform but in the meantime everyone is so boggled by it that we're hugely backloged and they're begging us to work overtime. The only thing worse than having to work on a barely functional system is being asked to work extra on a barely functional system. I am beyond frustrated, especially since I don't get paid by the hour, I get paid by productivity (which means probably not even minimum wage until this gets fixed). GRRRRRRR
