My day.

I got out of bed this morning and stood up. I started to walk to the bathroom and abruptly realized that my achilles tendons were all tight, and I wobbled off-kilter and smacked into a closet door.

I broke the gate off our new fence because I pulled it open instead of pushing it.

I was mowing the lawn and I tried to kick some rocks and a "mound of dirt" out of the way, and realized the "mound of dirt" was a big dead bird covered with bugs. I started shrieking and flapping my arms like a sissy and killed the mower which took me about five attempts and two violent kicks to re-start.

I was installing some flooring in my upstairs landing and apparently I was injured somehow, because I ran out to pick up Jack from school and upon arrival noticed that I had dried blood all over my left arm and shoulder. People looked at me weird.

I had a fun weekend. Someone bit me on the back. That wasn't the reason it was fun, but it's an odd detail.

I was wondering what you were up to these days. I should have known it would involve injury, dead animals and dried blood.
