Dream: Mike Scioscia told me to go away.
I live in So. MD and am a lifelong Angels' fan. O8) The Angels were in town to play the O's. I went to Oriole Park to see Mike Scioscia, who is now my number one all time baseball figure; he's eclipsed Nolan Ryan. He's a rock star, man.

I walked into the visitors' offices. Mike was sitting at a desk, one of his coaches standing over his shoulder at the computer. Talking about tonight's O's pitcher. I walked right up to him and said, "I'm a longtime fan, Orange County native, I'm glad you guys are here!" I figured they'd say something like, "well, thanks for stopping by, we appreciate it, will you be at the game," etc.

Mike looked at me and said, "that's nice but I'm busy."

The catalyst for this dream was the following text message I received from my sister at about 10 PM last night:

"Guess where Joe and I are?!"

I cried. God, I miss home so much, and I haven't been to a home Angels game in about nine years.

1. Hello fellow Angels' fan!!
I moved to Los Angeles 16 years ago and "adopted" the Angels as my team. They are a lot more fun to watch than the Dodgers, and I like Mike Scioscia, too!

The guys on ESPN radio were talking about the Angels and the Dodgers the other day. They all seemed to feel that the Angels have built a team that could be competitive for many years to come, while the Dodgers have managed to be mediocre year after year.

Go Angels!!

2. Strange. The Dodgers used to have the strongest farm team in the league.
I confess I don't know much about the Halos' organization these days, but I do know that Mike rocks and this team is going all the way this year.

Go Halos! O8)

:hi:

3. No baseballer is more bad-ass than Nolan Ryan.
Just ask Robin Ventura.
