I just attempted to use the federal district court system's electronic document filing system for the first time.

I had to prepare a pleading, convert it to a PDF document, access the PACER/ECF system, upload the converted document, fill out the appropriate online geegaws, and send the thing to the clerk of court.

I think it worked. I pray it worked, since I'm bumping up against a deadline!

Jeezus, this thing is more trouble than it's worth.

Intersting side note: The judge handling the case is the widower of Christa McAuliffe, the teacher who died in the Challenger disaster.
