57. Hiya, Notorious Cali-P! I was in New York once myself; I hope you like it as much as I did.

I had a great time there- I did all the "New York" things I'd ever seen on TV.

I attended a wedding at the Botanical Gardens, (I didn't CRY, I just
happened to have some crap blow in my eye while they were reading
that passage from 'The Velveteen Rabbit' where the Stalking Horse
explains that "Once someone loves you, you can't ever be ugly again")
got lost on the subway, had a screaming fight with my girlfriend on
the sidewalk, ate and drank to excess at a wedding banquet in Chinatown,
bought fresh omelettes and Japanese beer at 6 in the morning 25 feet
from the front door of my hotel, and shared a joint around the corner
with some wild-eyed dude who thought I was "Ice-T" or "Kenny G" from
moment to moment...

I'd like to go back there sometime when I have more than 18 hours to spend.
I have a feeling that it might take 2 or 3 days to really see everything NYC
has to offer, knowhutImean? :)
