Edited on Sun Aug-10-08 02:57 PM by lost-in-nj
I know there is one on the Jersey shore that has an abortion message along with a very graphic picture for every person on the beach including every child, to see...

But yesterday on a VERY crowded Jersey beach one went by and the banner read

"McCain wants to put oil rigs out here..... do you????"

(meaning off the coast of NJ)

thought that was pretty neat.. short and to the point....

2. What a great way to get a point like that across.
I'm not a beach-goer, though I have family in the Toms River area and will be moving there later this year due to family needs. I'm looking forward to it, and dreading it at the same time.

I'm actually going to miss a lot of things about it, though in this case family comes first. There are some benefits to moving, such as being on the water, with a pool (though once I'm finally settled in around the end of October that point is moot).

edited to fix an egregious spelling error.

13. See -- you're showing you know nothing about NJ
The HUGE majority of the state is either rural, semi-rural, or suburban. VERY little of it is urban.
