iPhone drama on our patio tonight

I'm an iPhone widow right now, folks. CMW received his iPhone earlier this week and, while we were sitting on the patio a few minutes ago, He whined that informed me that nobody has called him yet on his iPhone.

This is an EXACT transcript of the discussion.

CMW: "I haven't gotten a single call on my new phone." (Pouty look)

Me: "Who did you give the number to?"

CMW: "Nobody. Well, you."

Me: "Did you program it into my cell phone?"

CMW: "Yes."

Me: (Rolling my eyes.) Okay, I'll get my cell phone and call you.

Him: "Bring my iPhone, too, m'kay?"

So, we're sitting across the patio table from one another, while I call him from my cell phone to his iPhone.

Him: "Hello?"

Me: (Looking RIGHT at him!!!!) "Hi."

Him: "Who is this, please?"

Me: "Oh for f*ck's sake!!!"

Him: "If you're going to swear, I'll have to hang up now."

Me: (Dying of giggles.) "No, wait! I love you!"

Him: "Too late. You're a coarse woman. I have to go. My wife is watching."

Me: "Ok. Thx. Bai."

30. I don't have an iphone.

i have an itty, bitty do-nothing cell that i finally got around to getting a couple of months ago and then only because the cat who wandered into our lives needed to go to the vet and dh was out of town and waiting for an update. so, i'm driving aimlessly around looking for the last pay phone left in the entire county to call and let him know what the doc said. no luck.

about a week later i finally buy the cheapest one and the minutes. everything goes fine for about a week. then i start getting calls from a collection agency. long, long, long story, but to cut to the chase, i had to call verizon and ask them to change my phone number. :grr:

other than the collection agencies, only dh has called me. :sob:
