9. Yep.
So not so "new," I guess. :P

First time I've seen a DVD without chapter breaks, though, but I think Lynch does that with all his movies.

10. Most of his movies, yeah. (Unless the distributor suggests otherwise.)
He decided to put them on the Inland Empire dvd though, so people, if they have to stop, can pick up where they left off more easily. But he doesn't like them because of course he thinks a film should be watched all the way through from the start, haha.

I just rewatched the whole series; what a fucking derailment. Amazing what can happen sometimes when you refuse to jump ship on a piece of art that has gotten out of control.

23. I think I'm going to adopt a purist approach and only watch to the death of Maddie
Originally, Cooper and Audrey were going to get together, and I think that would have been a better direction for the series.

A baguette, brie, and butter beats the tar out of a baguette and brie alone.

Lately I've had the strange fantasy of moving to Nevada to open a brothel. What do you think?

59. Nero Wolfe
If I may plagiarize the wiki summary:

Nero Wolfe is a fictional detective, created by the American mystery writer Rex Stout, who made his debut in 1934. Wolfe's confidential assistant Archie Goodwin recorded the cases of the detective genius in 33 novels and 39 short stories from the 1930s to the 1970s, with most of them set in New York City. The Nero Wolfe corpus was nominated Best Mystery Series of the Century at Bouchercon 2000, the world's largest mystery convention, and Rex Stout was nominated Best Mystery Writer of the Century.

The picture of Maury Chaykin above is from the most recent tv (made for A&E when it was still A&E and not Crap & Trash) iteration.

64. Jessica, no doubt
She's pushy, unrelenting in her perserverance to see an investigation clear to the end, and smarter than 67% of the other detectives out there. She's a wonderful role model for women, and she can and will make you feel right at home with her.

She diesn't take guff from anyone, and she will never be conned by anyone from Nigeria.

Now, if she were not available to help break the case wide open, my second choice would have to be detective Steve Sloan, and his doctor father, Mark Sloan. The combination of those two, with fellow doctors Charlie Schlatter and Victoria Rowell cinch the case. :)

Ken Stott's Rebus is preferable to John Hannah's Rebus - nothing against John though.
