Is it wrong of me to do this?

Usually when I am in a truck stop and a homeless person comes up to me asking for money I tell them to f!@#!@ off. Yesterday I was at a shipper and six stray dogs surrounded my truck. I pulled out scooters bag of food and fed all six of them. Is it wrong of me to want to help stray animals but not stray people?:shrug:

I would feed them. I have offered to feed more than one panhandler. I haven't had one yet take me up on the offer. Most of those guys running around the truck stops are just wanting drug money.

5. A friend of mine was giving me crap

about it. He just couldn't understand how I would help an animal over a person. I didn't see it that way but I guess he did. The only part of it I have a problem with is I couldn't do more for those dogs. I wanted to take all six of them home but I couldn't.

I have way more love and compassion for animals that I do human beings sometimes, so I understand you.

If anyone gives you crap about helping animals perhaps they need to examine themselves first.

You help who/what/how you want. Guilt should never be an issue in charity.
