Dave Matthews cancels Sac and Utah shows (tonight and Wed)

Damn. Thought it might happen. I was so looking forward to tonights show. Robert Earl Keen to open and the band has been ON FIRE this summer.

Postponed for Leroi's funeral on Wed. Godspeed Leroi, you will be missed.

Dave Matthews Band is postponing tonight's show at Raley Field in West Sacramento, CA and Wednesday's show at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley, UT. We apologize for any inconvenience and we will announce more information on these two dates as soon as it becomes available."

LeRoi Moore's obituary in the Charlottesville Daily Progress notes that visiting hours will be held Tuesday afternoon, with the funeral taking place the following morning.

Although the newspaper mentioned the viewing hours, DMB management tells antsmarching.org that the family wished the affair to be private - for family and personal friends only. There is a future plan for something for the fans of the band, but this is not the more public plan.
