I am totally repulsed by people saying they're totally repulsed with DU, today.
I feel an electric charge in the air after Obama's speech last night. A unity amongst Dems and here at DU, and a renewed galvanization to action.

I feel a great drawing together in a defining moment in history. So I just don't get the ones saying they're "repulsed by DU", whatever the nitpicking and totally overplayed pretexts.

er. just my opinion tho'

1. Some people have class and know decorum, some people don't...
Frankly I think the ones who don't simply don't belong here, but that's just me.

2. I get it. You think you are the arbiter of decorum. Or wish you were.
Some people know when a smell is of a dead fish, some people don't...

3. Maybe it's better they get spanked in here a little.
Might make them better people IRL?

Some of it is really lowlife though, and does reflect poorly on DU IMO.

4. Frankly I think many of them are probably better people in real life...
The web gives them anonymity, which means they can act like assholes without fearing normal social repercussions. I just wish their real life decorum would translate to the web.

6. We live in hope my friend.
You make a great point. I think this election cycle has just brought a little more to the surface. I'm looking forward to December.

7. Hey, I have just as much decorum in real life as I do in here...
however, I'm a karaoke DJ and can drink on the job.
