20. To be fair, being VP is mostly going to funerals of people who don't quite rate the actual President

and waiting for the President to die. Though in this case, the latter's likely enough that having somebody at least somewhat qualified to take over (and not completely insane) would be nice. Most voters will figure that out between now and November- McAncient isn't looking any younger, and campaigning will take a lot out of him.
