2. I may laugh at you
but not for the tomato garden. Very nice addition to an urban environment.

3. Hey, that's great!
:bounce:

It's so rewarding to grow your own veggies, isn't it?

Too bad you can't set some pots out on that roof next door... you'd have enough to feed the whole neighborhood!

We have a few varieties of tomatoes in our garden. The sweet little grape tomatoes are going crazy this year. We are eating lots of delicious roasted bruschetta and the Romas have begun to ripen so, I've been making sauce for the last couple of days.

How will you enjoy your tomato... sliced with a pinch of salt, sliced in a salad, BLT's?

5. I read that book...
A Tomato Grows in Brooklyn.

Nice looking plant -- you should get a few more tomatoes from that one.

6. No laughing here
When my daughter lived in Manhattan, she loved sitting on her fire escape in the evening and watching as the lights came on in the buildings around her. It reminded her of sitting on our porch in Vermont watching the stars come out.

I like your garden. :hi:

8. Very nice
I have a little patio garden with a couple of grow boxes. Two of my plants are quite bushy and lush with quite a few green tomatoes. I have 6 others in two big pots that look like pale, Charlie Brown, x-mas trees with one tomato per plant. Quite sad.
