It's not unexpected... he suffered a massive heart attack and then was taken off life support.

He was once a big time heel in the wrestling world. notably trained Triple H amongst others (Including Chyna, Perry Saturn, A-Train(Giant Bernard) etc.

Just as a random note once claimed he was the only vegetarian in pro wrestling

His most famous match was when he accidentally ripping off Youkon Eric's ear with a knee drop.

of pros that it's easier to list those he didn't. He was a mainstay both as a great heel wrestler and the best trainer in the business.

5. I saw him wrestle live a few times.

Back in the day, my big brother and I used to go to the wrestling matches. We got ringside seats many times, so I've seen a lot of the old time greats up close and personal. Wilbur Snyder, Dick The Bruiser, Blackjack Lanza, Baron von Raschke, Bobo Brazil...

Wrestling has changed beyond all recognition. Now it's all spitting into the mike for an hour and yelling about stomping some poor fool's guts out. The dignity (if such a word can be used about men beating the shit out of each other in public) is gone.

Rest in peace, Killer. You've earned it.
