that'll be me. My friend is turning 40 and a baseball fanatic so for her birthday she's flying in from Boston and we're staying in Half moon bay and another friend got tickets to the game, not really a baseball fan but hey, it's her birthday.

3. Love that little town

There's a deli in a little shopping center off Main St., a block or so after the intersection with Highway 1. Can't remember the name of it, but they have a hugh selection of sammiches and stuff and pretty good clam chowder. ('Course, a Masshole might not think so.) :)

4. i like the Chowdah i've had in San Francisco, haven't had a bad bowl yet.

We're going to micro brewery first and then on to the game but on Friday we'll be driving around a bit so i'll look for that place. I'm also thinking of taking them to Bodega Bay because they haven't been there yet but i know 2 of them are planning a bunch of spa treatments so it just might by Tilly and i. Not a spa girl myself but i'm having a mani/pedi.

5. You keep mentioning towns I'm in love with

I took a side trip to Bodega Bay from Santa Rosa around 10 years ago because (a.) I love little seaside towns, and (2.) I wanted to see where Hitchcock shot "The Birds." Turned out it wasn't filmed there, though he used a church in Bodega (between Bodega Bay and Sebastopol) for the school scenes.

6. I went to Santa Rosa a few years ago to see The Charles Schultz museum, what a great place that is.

Now Bodega is a place we got to about 5 or 6 times a year, Doran State park is just about the kite flying beach ever. We may end up renting a place there when we sell our house in 5 short years.
