10. I stopped at Wendy's yesterday to grab a quick snack off the dollar menu

and it turns out nothing costs a dollar anymore. The "value menu" should just be renamed, "the almost $2 menu."

That spicy chicken go wrap (and it's not even fucking wrapped!) was not worth the almost $2.

I shop there all the time. Once the fuel prices soared above $4 I knew it was a matter of time before that would impact the dollar stores.

They'll probably raise to maybe $1.29, along the lines of the dollar menus at fast food joints that charge in that range for many items.

Damn. I'll have to stock up on things this weekend.
